How does the process work?
  1. Get an offer from us Find your device and let us know the condition. After filling out the questionnaire, we will give you an instant quote!
  2. Ship it Pack your device and attach the sent shipping label. Drop it off at your local post office. If you don't have a box, not a problem, we'll send you one too! Free of charge.
  3. Get paid When your device arrives, we will inspect and test it. Once it passes testing, you will receive your payment within 3 days through PayPal or E-Transfer. If it fails our test, your device will be returned to you, FREE of charge!
Why sell my device?
By trading your device, you are aiding in regulating and protecting the ecosystem. Our belief is that we owe our beautiful earth a moral obligation to preserve it for future generations. In order to do so, environmental conservation is needed to protect our day-to-day life. By selling your device instead of throwing it away in a landfill, you minimize your carbon footprint and help preserve the environment. That’s something you can be a part of!
How is the value of my device determined?
Finding the value of your device can be done in a number of different ways. We have a number of tests in place to assess the model, age, and performance of the device. Through our findings, the lifetime value of your device will determine whether it is in a favorable condition or not.
Can I cancel any unwanted transactions?
You can discontinue all unwanted transactions at any time, simply by tracking your order and click cancel order Click here. You can also contact us via email at Hello@selldevice.com or click here. You will need to provide your order number and email address associated with your order.
Do I have to pay for anything?
No, you don’t need to pay anything. We will take responsibility for the shipping process and all the allocated charges. Just make sure that you ship the device within 14 days  as that is the duration of your offer’s timeframe.
How do I get my shipping label or my shipping kit?
With respect to just a shipping label or Pick up, an email containing a printable shipping label will be sent to you within 1-24 hours of accepting our offer. If however, you choose to get a shipping kit, the kit and all other materials needed to ship your device will be mailed and delivered within 3-5 business days.
Do I need to send my device with all the accessories?
For Smartphones, you don’t have to send your device in with all its accessories. However if you would like to do so we would highly appreciate it! For Macbook and Gaming Consoles, yes we need the power cable, adaptor, and controller.
How long do I have to mail in my device?
You have 14 days to mail in your device starting from the day you receive the offer. Remember the sooner you mail it in, the sooner you get paid!
What preparations should I make to ship my device?
Selldevice offers three options when it comes to shipping. You can either use the shipping label or use the shipping kit offered free of charge. If you are considering preparing and shipping the package yourself using just our shipping label we recommend you consider the following to speed up the trade-in process:
  1. Follow the instructions on the prepaid label. The label will be sent to your email inbox and will have instructions on how to apply it. Make sure to check your spam folder in case it is sent there!
  2. Make sure to use proper materials for packaging your device to prevent damages. Proper packaging recommended is to wrap your device up in a paper or suitable material to guard the screen and battery of your device.
  3. We recommend packaging your device in a box rather than plastics as it is not eco-friendly.
  4. Take your package to the nearest post box or office and ship it to us.
  5. And that's it, all done! 
What if I choose to get a shipping kit?
  1. The kit and all other materials needed to ship your device will be sent to your shipping address. 
  2. Please ensure that you follow the instructions on how to securely package your device
  3. Stick the shipping label sticker to the already existing shipping label
  4. Drop the package off at the nearest post box or office for shipment
What if I choose to get it picked up?

How to deactivate “Find my iPhone”?
Find My iPhone is a security feature that was embedded in an iPhone to protect customers’ information in case your device gets lost. It is a useful tool that allows you to locate your iPhone or lock your device in the event of theft. Find My iPhone is linked to your Apple ID account; hence no one can access your account without your Apple ID and password. All you have to do is:
  1. On your iPhone, visit the settings app and click on your Apple ID account to open it.
  2. Go to the iCloud section, where you will see the Find my iPhone feature and just toggle off the Find My iPhone button.
  3. You will have to log-in your iCloud account at this point and tap on the “turn off” button again to authenticate your action.
A user can quickly turn off Find my iPhone even if the iPhone has already been shipped to us. 
  1. All you have to do is sign in at http://www.icloud.com/
  2. Click “devices” at the top.
  3. Click on the device you choose to sell us, or have already sent to us, and then click “X” to take it off your iCloud account. 
  4. However, you can log into your Apple ID anytime from any device to access personal information on your iPhone.
When do I get paid?
We pay between 1-2 business days after receiving your device and confirming it passes inspection. After the testing has been completed, you will be paid through your chosen method. Here are the available modes of payment delivery. 
  • Paypal: Instant payment 
  • Interac E-Transfer: Instant payment 
  • Check: Usually 5-7 business days transit time
How can I be sure to get paid in time?
We are equipped with exceptional handling skills, which make it possible to make customer payment between 1-2 business days after receiving your device. Payment will either be made by PayPal, Interac e-Transfer, or Check.
When do I get the tree certification
We do our best to email out the certification to our customers within 2 business days from completing the trade in.
